Rosebud Film and Video Festival
AIM conducts one of the region’s largest independent film festivals every year. Designed to honor innovative, experimental, unusual, and deeply personal films, The Rosebud Film and Video Festival has earned a reputation for attracting some of the area’s best and brightest filmmakers, and for putting together showcases of films that are exciting and challenging. AIM also works closely with the Arlington Public Schools and the Partnership for Children, Youth and Families to put together the Arlington Youth Film Festival. At every level – student, amateur, seasoned professional – AIM provides outlets and recognition for film and video artists.
For 20 years the Rosebud Film & Video Festival has recognized and honored the innovative, experimental, unusual, and deeply personal in regional film and video making. Each year our annual competition awards large cash prizes, video products and services, as well as theatrical and cable television showcases, exclusively to film and video artists in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
