Arlington Independent Media

As of Friday, March 22, 2024, WERA 96.7 is temporarily on hiatus. After a brief station identification break on Friday afternoon, power to the transmitter has been turned down. Please be advised that this is a temporary pause, and necessary to determine next steps for future production transmission while remaining in compliance with the FCC. AIM’s Board of Directors thanks all radio producers and listeners for their patience at this time. Please stay tuned for further updates— we hope to resume transmission as soon as possible. The AIM Board is also committed to returning to radio and TV production as soon as possible, and appreciates members’ support and patience during this time.

Due to cash flow, staff has received layoff notices, including the CEO.

The Board of Directors has assumed the operations of the organization and is in the process of working with auditors to fully understand the financial health of the organization.

The Board voted during a closed session on March 18 to elect new officers. We are pleased to announce that the President of AIM’s Board is now Rhonda Snipe, and our new Treasurer is Amanda MacKaye. Claire Seaton will continue as Secretary.

The AIM Board is also committed to returning to radio and TV production as soon as possible, and appreciates members’ support and patience during this time.

Please join us on April 17th, 2024 at 7pm at 3700 S. Four Mile Run Dr. in the Black Box Theater for a Special Meeting of Members.
